This short film, centered on an illustrator's quest for inspiration, was my final project I did for the 3.5-month VFX course at Schnittakademie. At its heart, "The Door" is a narrative woven around the struggles of an illustrator, portrayed by the talented Nikolai Arnold, as he struggles with creative block. Utilizing green screen technology and software like The Foundry Nuke, Blender, and After Effects, I tried to seamlessly blend live-action footage with digital landscapes. - It's a reminder that every project is a journey, filled with challenges but ultimately, fulfillment, if you keep going.
